I had started to develope a hump at the top of my back after 40 hrs a week looking down at my laptop for the last 5 years.It took three months of chiropractics and exercises to improve. I purchased this stand as well as a detached keyboard so that I wouldn't be looking down at my screen, and it does the job perfectly! I can feel the difference in my back and neck after just a few hours of not using it. This stand is a posture game changer!It does not hold a cell phone or tablet if they are in cases. But the set up works for me and my needsThis laptop stand was perfect. When not in use it folds up so I can put it away when not needed.Was a giftI recently bought a small laptable that was just a flat table. Since I wanted to have my keyboard at an angle I bought this. I love that it is lightweight, making it very portable. However, I have a 17" laptop, and although it says it is for 10-17 inch laptops my laptop would not stay on the stand. It would slide up and over the bottom flip-up lip that is what is supposed to hold the laptop. I ended up using two 3M industrial 2"x4" velcro patches, placed on either edge of the stand and the back of my computer. While this does work I now need to be mindful that the stand has the grippy side of the velcro so if the stand is not attached to the computer I need to be careful where I put it. Since I have enough room in my computer case I can just leave it on the computer. The velcro works great and makes the laptop very stable. Yes, I would buy it again. But I think a 17" laptop is pushing the limit on what it can realistically hold reliably.For mine officeThis stand puts your lap top at eye level...its easy to adjust...I love it! The phone holder on the side is to far back so I don't use that...but it was a good buy...just don't depend on it to hold your phone.Received promptly and works for me
