I purchased this screen in October 2013 and so I haven't had any problems and I installed it myself. But there was a couple of things that wasn't right. First on the back of the screen where it says on the bottom "do not touch" right above that is where you make the connection, it took several attempts for me to make the connection because it would not stay connected once I installed the screen back into it shell. The connection would disconnect once I had it installed. The reason why becauses right above the "do not touch" it wasn't sealed which caused the connection to come a loose. So after I compared it to the original screen that I had removed, the same area was sealed all the way across. So I cut a strip of clear packing tape and sealed the area and that prevented the connection from coming apart when I would put the screen back together. The next problem was after the screen was installed I could see different colors of through the screen. I took the screen apart several more times to make sure I had a good connection (which I did), I finally gave up and accepted the specs/dots. They were very bright in the beginning and very noticeable. it frustrated me when I would watch a movie and the dots were there but after a while the specs became less noticeable and not as bright. Now i barely notices them.So if it wasn't for those couple of things I would have given a 5 star rating.
